Welcome
Nori's Vegetarian Deli serves vegan, non-vegan and gluten-free items to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner. We start our morning baking fresh muffins and brewing excellent fair-trade, organic and locally roasted coffees. Then we make a nice daily selection of sandwiches, wraps, hot meals and vegetarian soups. Throughout the day we continually make our own soups, salads and other baked goods all from Local, Organic and Natural ingredients. Please come in and enjoy Nori's FRESH cooked food.  

The Daily Menu                       
Everyday we do our best to create delicious items and a few surprises from our schedule below.  We are happy to receive suggestions pertaining to any of our foods. While we reserve the right to surprise you with non-scheduled items, you can expect to find these sandwiches and items in our deli case unless we are out of ingredients or there are other unforeseen circumstances. However, we cannot guarantee that these sandwiches will be here when you get here.

Monday
Egg Salad Sandwich:  Hard Boiled Eggs, Mayonnaise, & Spices with Crispy Leaf Lettuce on Rockhill Sourdough.

Nori's Hummus & Fresh Vegetable Wrap: Using Nori's Own Hummus (could be any of our flavors such as Classic, Cilantro-Lime, Roasted Red Pepper or Roasted Garlic) we will fill a Spinach Tortilla with Greens, Cabbage, Red Peppers, Carrots, and Tomatoes. Filling will vary slightly from week to week.

Nori's Classic Falafel Wrap: Crunchy Fried Chick Pea Falafel, with a Creamy Cucumber Raita and Lettuce or Greens in a Whole Wheat Tortilla.

Nori's Ultimate Falafel Wrap: Crunchy Fried Chick Pea Falafel, with a Creamy Cucumber Raita Sauce, and Lettuce or Greens in a Spinach Tortilla. 

Veggie Sushi: We use Local and Organic Assorted Vegetabels such as Carrot, Avocado, Red Peppers (always changing) along with our own Teriyaki Tofu and Sticky Rice. This is also served with Wheat Free Tamari Sauce, Ginger and Wasabi.

Tuesday
Breakfast Burrito: On Tuesday we tend to fill the Burrito with Eggs, Onions, Peppers, Salsa, Oven Roasted Potatoes with Cheese & Eggs. 

Avocado Crunch Wrap: Ripe Avocados mixed with Tomatoes, Just the Right Spices, Carrots, Greens and Blue Corn Tortilla Chips on a Whole Wheat Wrap. If Avocados are not ripe for this day we will substitute with another sandwich.

Tofu Banh Mi: A new (new for Nori's) and exciting mix of Baked Tofu, Pickled Diakon & Carrot, Cilantro and Jalapenos and Veganaise. 

Veggie Burgers:  Our own Veggie Burgers, made from scratch, on a Whole Wheat Bun with various toppings changing daily.

Pad Thai, completely vegetarian.

Wednesday
Egg Salad Sandwich:  Hard Boiled Eggs, Mayonnaise, & Spices with Crispy Leaf Lettuce on Tribecca Multi-Grain.

Tomato, Garlic Aioli, and Fresh Mozzarella with Greens on a Crispy Baguette!

Egg Rolls: Filled with Nori's Teriyaki Tofu, Cabbage, Carrots, Green Onions, Fresh Garlic, Sesame Oil and Tamari, all Fried up in Safflower Oil.

Curried Tofu Wrap: Marinated, Baked, Curried Tofu with a Curried Carrot Slaw, Cashews, Dried Cranberries and Greens.

Thursday
"Chick'n" Cordon Bleu:  Made from the ground up we make a Chick Pea & Seitan Patty and Roll it with Tempeh Bacon and Swiss Cheese. Next we slice the "Chick'n" Cordon Bleu Roll and serve it on a Stirato Roll with Red Onion, Spinach and Dijonaise.

Pizza Thursday: Every Thursday we are firing up the oven to make a tasty unique "PIZZA OF THE DAY".  The Pizza is made with Our Own Dough, Our Own Sauce and Our Own Fillings. Mostly ORGANIC! 

Fresh Spring Rolls: We take a Rice Wrapper and fill it with Fresh Herbs, Fresh Vegetables, Rice Noodles and other surprises served with our satisfying Asian Vinaigrette Dipping Sauce.

Seitan Shawarma: Seasoned Seitan prepared with Nori's Hummus, Chili Sauce, Red Onion, Pickles, and Indian Yogurt Sauce in a Whole Wheat Wrap.

Friday
Egg Salad Sandwich:  Hard Boiled Eggs, Mayonnaise, & Spices with Crispy Leaf Lettuce on Ezekiel Bread.

Breakfast Burrito: On Friday we tend to fill the Burrito with Eggs, Onions, Peppers, Salsa, with Cheese & Eggs (no potato). 

Nori's Hummus & Fresh Vegetable Wrap: Using Nori's Own Hummus (could be any of our flavors such as Classic, Cilantro-Lime, Roasted Red Pepper or Roasted Garlic) we will fill a Spinach Tortilla with Greens, Cabbage, Red Peppers, Carrots, and Tomatoes. Filling will vary slightly from week to week.

Brie & Pesto Vegetable Sandwich:  Something New!  A Flavorful Combination  of  Imported Brie, Pesto, Roasted Red Peppers, Artichokes  Hearts, and Spinach!

Saturday
Egg Rolls: Filled with Nori's Teriyaki Tofu, Cabbage, Carrots, Green Onions, Fresh Garlic, Sesame Oil and Tamari, all Fried up in Safflower Oil.

Quiche: Quite often times we will have a popular favorite; Broccoli, Green Onion and Cheddar. Other times we will change it up with other ingredients. 

Sunday
Nori's Asian Wrap: Now it's an old favorite thanks to Sarah Curtis.  The following ingredients  exist perfectly inside a Spinach Wrap;  Asian Rice Mix (Jasmine Rice, Pineapple, Orange Juice, Thai Seasoning, and Sautéed Onions & Carrots),  Nori's Teriyaki Tofu and Baby Spinach!

Roasted Portabella & Chevre: Plus we add in Spinach and Roasted Red Peppers and put all these Ingredients on Rockhill Sourdough Bread. 




Fresh Food Made Daily at Nori’s

MUFFINS!  We make vegan muffins every morning.  They are made with whole wheat pastry flour, safflower oil, soy milk, vanilla, baking powder, salt.  The flavor of the day varies, usually a fruit or berry, sometimes with nuts…

COOKIES!  We almost always have Kristen’s Vegan Everything Cookies, with oats, raisins, walnuts, and chocolate chips.  Other types of cookies include but are not limited to: a wide array of gluten-free goodies, peanut butter cookies, cream cheese cookies with jelly center, classic chocolate chip, ginger-molasses, macaroons, pecan sandies, etc.

BROWNIES!  Located at the first register, our basket of chocolate brownies tempts every customer who checks out.  Our brownies are a classic recipe made with organic whole wheat pastry real chocolate, butter, and eggs. We also make these gluten-free!   

COFFEE!  We brew Equal Exchange coffee which is certified Fair Trade and Organic. We also brew Gimme Coffee roasted in Ithaca, NY which buys several varieties of organic coffee at a fair trade or above rate.  We brew five kinds each day, one decaf, and a range of dark to medium roasts.

SOUPS!  All of our soups are made right here in our kitchen with our own wholesome ingredients, including organic and local produce, organic dairy, organic rice, organic beans and pasta. Everyday we offer two kinds of soups; one that is creamy or non vegan and one that is vegan. Our soups can be simple and nice or gourmet and delicious. 

BURRITOS!  We have these EVERYDAY.  Our classic vegetarian burrito consists of:  black beans, long grain brown rice, corn, onions, peppers, spices, and cheddar cheese.  It is in a whole wheat tortilla, baked to perfection.  We also offer a vegan burrito, identical except we substitute “Tofutti”, a vegan sour cream, for the cheddar.

PIZZA!  All kinds of pizza.  We make our own whole wheat herb crust, which is also available frozen in dough form. We are now making gourmet pizza every Friday, PIZZA FRIDAY IS BACK!

HUMMUS:  A vegan spread made of chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin and garlic.  We make several flavors: Nori's New Classic, Cilantro and Lime, Roasted Garlic and Roasted Garlic/Red Pepper.

SALADS:  We make two kinds of green salads that are available all the time:

Greek Salads are romaine lettuce with stuffed grape leaves, feta chunks sprinkled with oregano, whole kalamata olives, tomato wedges, pepperoncini peppers or lemon slices, and a red wine vinegar/olive oil dressing.

Garden Salads include green leaf lettuce, grated carrots, thin-sliced red cabbage, sprouts, and tomato wedges, and they come with your choice of dressings.  We have home-made balsamic vinaigrette, creamy bleu cheese, honey-dijon, or Annie’s Vegan Goddess Dressing (tahini-lemon).
